MEXICO: WHEN A SOUL IS REBORN AMONG MEMORIES

Light a candle to illuminate the soul, print a photo to feel closer, and remember everything that person loved in life. Missing someone is wanting to hug the soul of someone who is no longer here, it is feeling an emptiness and a broken heart; but missing also heals and uses the memory as a means of liberation. In Mexico, dying is being reborn, it is seeing the soul of the one we remember return each year, it is a tradition with the scent of flowers and warm lights; it is being reborn with skulls and catrinas, in Mexico dying is returning to the root.

Every year, on November 1 and 2, Mexico celebrates the Day of the Dead, where memory is the origin, in the midst of an offering composed of: flowers, candles, the favorite foods of that person, and a photo to receive each spirit.
