From the south of Spain, to the south of France, to the Italian Riviera

¡El mundo a tu manera!

Many of us have already been to Europe at some point. Some in a bit of a rush, strolling a bit through beautiful capitals and stopping for a “little while” in beautiful corners that enchanted us and to which we wish to return with a “little” (or quite a lot) of calm.

The TRUTH (in capital letters) is that Europe DOES captivate and invites you to explore its corners, and it can be traveled with a well-organized (and not large) group or privately by car (whether with 1 or 2 couples of friends).

Do you know how many kilometers it is from the border with Spain to the border with Italy? Only 565 and on excellent highways, although, I insist, the beautiful part is the medium and small towns.

For now, I’ll entice you with the following from the South of France.

What do you know about Aix or Arles or the Camargue? And have you heard anything about the Palace of the Popes in Avignon, or Eze or St. Paul-de Vence? All of this is located on the “famous” Côte d’Azur (French Riviera). This is the French Mediterranean, acclaimed for being a refuge for celebrities and iconic localities like Monte Carlo, Saint Tropez, and Cannes. Fine coquetry!!!

I acclaim it for its atmosphere, vibrant panoramic views over the Mediterranean, beaches, ports, and promenades (sunset walks).

I would return just to enjoy: A morning in Old Nice with its markets, walking for a few hours at sunset through the port of Monaco admiring those boats that boast so much glamour and pretension, strolling through Cannes with its historic center (besides admiring its Notre-Dame and visiting the La Bocca neighborhood), relaxing in Antibes and its beaches, getting lost in the cobbled streets of Aix with its squares full of flowers and fountains, but above all enjoying the pleasure of good taste.

Until next time.
