The country with the most World Heritage monuments and sites is Italy with 51 icons. The #2 is China with 50.
And the #3 is SPAIN WITH 45!
Let’s talk about it. Why? Because I AM FROM SPAIN AND OLÉ!
Surely many have already studied or visited it but the question is how did you do it? And if you returned, how would you do it?
Some visited it the first time “in a rush.” (Where are we? What day is today? What’s next? I don’t remember anything anymore!). Personally, I DO NOT like to visit “almost” any place like that.
Others only visited the most important cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia…)
Whether passing through, in a group, on an organized tour, by car, alone, with friends, or “backpacking” everything is VERY valid. This country can be known in multiple ways.
Driving or “handling” is one way (FLY & DRIVE), it allows you to go at your own pace. The most important thing here is to have a detailed route, know where to stop so as not to miss anything valuable, and have very charming accommodations reserved.
If you prefer not to drive, have you tried getting around by train or bus? The commuter train, the classic, the excellent AVE (Spanish High Speed) or intercity bus companies are very comfortable transports, and at a very good cost that allows you to comfortably enjoy the landscapes, have a good bar and/or restaurant (the trains).
If you are seriously interested in getting to know Spain (but by corners, not all at once), I will continue writing pieces and gladly help you. It is my country, and I enjoy it when people travel it well and thoroughly. It will be a pleasure to dream with you.
By the way, I would love to know who was the “nice” person who said that Spaniards are grumpy, bad-tempered, and not understandable when we speak. If I told you…!!!
Until next time.
Edu.
